Postnatal Yoga with Baby continues until Wednesday 15th July
I am very sad to announce that these classes will only continue until 15th July on a drop-in basis. I have enjoyed them immensely and hope that everyone still comes along but as many of you know I am moving out of the UK and this class is not being picked up by anyone.
The class primarily offers postnatal yoga with as much yoga stretch and postnatal strengthening as possible.
The involvement of the babies often depends from week to week. If the baby is asleep, we simply leave them to be. If they are awake and happy they lie with Mums on the mat. We involve the babies only on a need basis. If they show signs of being fussy we simply offer some gentle baby stretching and massage and include them in our own yoga practice. This seems to do the job!
The classes are really fun, very laid back and incredibly social. They are a fantastic way for local Mums to meet, get back in touch with their bodies, and integrate their babies into a life of yoga and fitness.
I strongly encourage any Mum to come join us and see for herself. You are welcome to attend provided that you are at least 6 weeks after the birth of your child, or 8 following a C-section.
